Festive Friday #125 - Chinese New Year - Bamboo Beauty © Stampin' Up! ®

It's the year of the Rabbit.

Welcome to the FF #125  Challenge, Chinese New Year. 

The Chinese New New Year is on January 22 and it is the year of the Rabbit.   For this celebration, here is the Insp List that is used to complete this Challenge. 

The goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge  At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge.  If you want help entering, please email me at [email protected] and I’d be happy to help you!  Again, your entry doesn’t have to have anything to do with the Chinese New Year   I picked some items from the Inspo list and just started creating. 

Here is my card.   I will include the supply list below.

The items that I used from the Insp List is Red, Gold,  Slimline and Heat Embossing.  I actually used 1 more that I needed.  I did a video for this card for a Mystery Challenge.  I actually made a money card for this challenge.  The  measurements for this card were shown in the video, but here they are  for easy reference.

Basic Black: 7" x 8 1/2" scored @ 3 1/2"  and 7 1/2"

Real Red:  2 @ 3" x 6" 1/2" 

Gold Distressed Specialty Paper:3 1/4" x 6 3/4"

Announcing my  Monthly Club Class for January:

Card Club for December will be  using Country Floral - It will be available as an In Person option (due to space this will be limited and will be by a first come first serve basis) or by mail or to go!  Each month I will focus on a bundle or stamp set.  Sign up for month to month or just the months you want to participate.

Club will include 3 cards with envelopes, 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, Package of Embellishments and Ribbon Combo Package and a PDF file for you to duplicate the cards if you wish.  You will use this DSP and these Embellishments to make your cards.

Cost:  $45 in Person or $50 Mailed

I have also added on another option for people attending in person.  You can choose at least $40 of product and receive the class for free

In person club will use my stamp set and ink.

By mail - you have the option to add on the stamp set or bundle or use your own.

You must sign up by 10th of each month via the Jotform  Registration for the first official club is now open.  You must sign up using this form.

In person class will be held on the last Sunday of each month - 2 options - 10am to noon Pacific or 1-3pm Pacific.  (Masks may be mandatory as well as any other requirements mandated by the Provincial Health Officer)  I am requesting that you also be vaccinated.  Note there is an exception for December due to the Holidays.

Kits will be mailed out around the 25th of the month.  If you subscribe for 6 consecutive months you will get a Special Swag Bag Gift containing $25 in product os a thank you!.
