I love these Festive Friday Challenges!
Welcome to the Festive Friday #0117 World Alzheimer's Day.
This year, it is September 21/22. The aim of the month is to raise awareness and challenge the stigma that surrounds Alzheimer’s and dementia, and it has been running since 2012, with September 21st celebrated annually as World Alzheimer’s Day. My Dad had dementia and it is such a terrible disease for the person and all the people that love them.
Here is the Insp list.
The goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. If you want help entering, please email me at [email protected] and I’d be happy to help you! Again, your entry doesn’t have to have anything to do with World Alzheimer's Day. I picked some items from the Inspo list and just started creating. I know I really went outside the Box, but I had a tough time with this theme.
Here is my card. the items that I used from the Inspo list is Purple, Heat Embossing and Die Cuts. I will be sure to include the supplies below.
I did this card for my Weekly Mystery Challenge. The video shows the measurements, but here they are for easy reference.
Basic White Thick: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored @ 4 1/4"
Gorgeous Grape: 4" x 5 1/4"
Parakeet Party: 2 1/4" x 5 1/4", 7/8" x 2 1/4" for Sentiment
Basic Black: 2 1/2" x 3", 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" for Haunted House, and scraps for Bats
Daffodil Delight: scraps for moon
Basic White or DSP: 2 1/2" x 3" for background of Haunted Die
Black and White DSP: 2" x 5"
