A Card Sketch Challenge for me.
Welcome to Casually Crafting Blog Hop.
We are a group of demonstrators that love to Share What We Do. We also hope that we inspire you to try some new things. For this particular Blog Hop, we have themes every month. This month's theme is a Card Sketch. We hope that you will try this Sketch. Also for this Blog Hop, we have geared it to the Casual Crafters. These are crafters that don't have all the Bells and Whistles, like a Cut and Emboss for example. Actually we are not allowed to use Die Cuts. A note of disclosure, in my video, I did use a die cut but the pictures show the card with punches.
Here is the Sketch.
And here is my interpretation of the Sketch.
I love these colours together.
I made this card for a Mystery Challenge. The clues were: leaves, birthday and circle. I actually had this sketch in mind when I did the clues. Like I said above, I changed out the die cuts for punched pieces.
Even though, I have the measurements in the video, here they are for easy reference.
Mint Macaron: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", 1/2" x 2 5/8" for sentiment, 2" x 2 1/2" for fronds
Basic White: 2" x 2" for the circle or the punch out
Evening Evergreen" 2" x 2 1/2" or 3" x 4 1/4" for the frond die
Pear Pizzaz: 2" x 2 1/2" for fronds.
Artfully Composed DSP: 2 @ 1/2" x 4", 3 1/2" x 4", 1/2" x 5 1/4" for the inside strip
Want to see how I put it together? Check out this video.
