Canada Inks Up Blog Hop - Garden Birdhouses Birthday Card

I'm excited to share my Birthday Card and a technique.

Welcome to the Canada Inks Up Team Blog Hop.

We are a Canadian bunch of Stampin' Up demonstrators that love to share what we do.  We are hopping together as the Canada Inks Up Team. Out theme this month is Birthday Cards.

I never seem to have enough Birthday Cards on hand.  When I saw the Garden Birdhouse on page 107, I just knew that this was a perfect stamp set to use for different techniques.  Today, I am going to use the Chalkboard Technique to use with the Garden Birdhouse Stamp Set.  I haven't used this technique forever.  I also made and easel card.

Here is the card.  I will give the supply list below.

I forgot to give the measurements on the video, but make sure that you check out the video for the scoring and the technique.

Bermuda Bay: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" and from the front left corner down to the centre fold

Granny Apple Green: 4" x 5 1/4"

Basic Black: 3 3/4" x 5"

Basic White 4" x 5 1/4"

Make sure that you check out the video on how to do  the Chalk Board Technique and the way I coloured it.  I am sorry that I used two ways, but at least we now know which works best.  Not the markers as I first stated on the video.
