Don't you just love it when you can add a different look by stamping and cutting Designer Series Paper? As part of my Back to Basic Series, I had shown a very simple card that I did using the Forever Greenery DSP and the Technique of Paper . As Part of this Special Group, I show some of the Back to Basics for the New Stampers or ones that just want to get more tips and tricks about stamping and all the products. You can join that group by clicking here. Every week I focus on something different.
Today, I want to talk about Paper Piecing. I wanted to show this technique along with the fact that the Designer Series Paper is now on sale for 15% off. For this technique, you can use almost all images that have some open spaces. ie flowers, people's clothes, houses etc. Today I wanted to show you a card that I made using the Get back on your Feet Stamp Set.
I needed a card for someone that was going in for surgery.
Here is the card. I will be supplying a shopping list below.
And here is a close up of the card showing the Paper Piecing part.
Here are the measurements for the card:
Shaded Spruce: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Pear Pizzazz: 3: x 5 1/4"
Whisper White: 3 3/4" x 5", 3" x 3 1/2".
As always I have a video to show you how this was done. This was recorded from my Facebook Live for my Basic to Basics Group.
