Stencilling in Back to Basics Using Snowflake Splendor
08/31/2020
I love it when you can go back in time and use techniques from the past and mix it with something new. I did just that in my Back to Basics Group. This is a group that I have for the Stamper that have just entered into the exciting world of Stamping. Every week, I introduce them to new product, techniques or just explain about the basics of Stamps, Ink and Paper. Here is a link to that group, if you would like to join us.
A week or two ago, we talked out Stencilling. I showed the Stencils that we have on page 146, but I really wanted to stress that you can make stencils out of your own dies. If you use thick Whisper White Cardstock you get a sturdy stencil, to use for fantastic backgrounds. Like in this card. I will post a supply list below.
Here is a close up.
I also showed how to use the embossing paste. You can catch how to do that in this video.
Don't forget to subscribe to my You Tube channel - You can do that here .
Now if you want to make this card, here are the measurements:
Thick Whisper White: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper: 4" x 5 1/4", scraps *** Watch video to see how to save paper
Whisper White 3 3/4" x 5", Scraps
