SBTD Are Celebrating 3 Years Together

Stampersbythe dozen
Welcome to the Stampers By the Dozen Blog Hop.  Some of the Bloggers in this group have been doing this for three years now.  We are celebrating that today with doing a post of our choice.

One type of  card that I have been dying to try is the NEW Slimline cards.  The Slimline is the new rage with cards this day and age.  Actually, I like the look of them, but where we use Imperial Measurements and our cardstock  is called A4, it really isn't feasible to make a whole lot of these cards.  You would use a whole sheet of cardstock to make one card.  I guess some crafting companies are making dies for them as well.  I am going to show you my take using Stampin' U!® product.  Just shows that you can use any dies for these cards.

I am so happy to use the Cherish the Season Bundle.  Actually I think only the dies were used.  Here is my card.  I will provide a Supply List Below.

Stampin With Diane Evans Cherish The Season Slimline

In the video, I show the larger size of the slimline card, but thought that it looked better by cutting down the card stock a bit more,  I felt that there was just too much open space or as I sometimes call it Real Estate.  You can choose for your self.

Don't forget to subscribe to my You Tube channel -   You can do that here.

In the video, I promised the measurements.  Actually these are the measurements for the smaller card.

Real Red:  7” x 8 ” scored at 3 ½, 3” x 7 ½”, 2 ½” x 2 ½”

Very Vanilla: 3 ¼” x 7 ¾”

Gold Foil:  2 ¾” x 2 ¾”, 4  x 4 ½”

I think you could use any size of the cardstock to match what you are trying to use.  Have fun with it.

So now onto the Blog Hop.  Why not check out Debi Ryan's Blog?
