Back to Basics Stamping and Colouring With Bleach
07/28/2020
I am doing a Blast From the Past Technique that I learnt about many years ago and that is Bleaching. It is amazing how it affects all the different colours of Stampin' Up! ® Cardstock. It is kinda like a Science Project, but way more fun.
This is part of my Back to Basics Series where I am introducing Stamping to the New Stampers.
I have a special Facebook group just for these Back to Basics Topics. Everyone is welcome. You can join the group here. I would love to have you.
So today we experimented with different card stock. Here is a sample sheet with some of the more impressive effects with the Bleach. As you can see the Basic Black isn't as noticeable as I thought it would have been, but it would make an awesome background.
Here is the card that I showed in the video using the Blushing Bride and the Prized Peony Stamp Set. I will include the supply list below.
I thought it would be good to see a close up of what the bleach did.
The measurements for this card:
Blushing Bride: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4", 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", scraps
Whisper White: 3 3/4" x 5 "
The video is here. I will show you the different ways to use the Bleach and some Tips and Tricks along the way.
