A Good Man Twisted Easel Card

Do you struggle making Manly Cards?  I have sons so it really has been a necessity for me to make them.  The Stamp set A Good Man is an awesome set.  Actually it looks like my sons.  LOL  The stamp set was made for me.  This set is also amazing to use with our Stampin Blends.  I decided to use this set and pair it up with the Nautical Paper, Come Sail With Me.  I think some of the Designer Series Paper (or DSP in Stampin;' Lingo), can be used for other themes other than what they were intended for.  I also decided to make a Twisted Easel Card. I will include a supply list below.   So here is the card.

And here is a close up of how I popped  up the sentiment with Dimensionals.  In hindsight, I should have used the black mini dimensionals.

The measurements are:

Thick Whisper White 4 ¼” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” and then we will do another score together, scrap 1 ¼” square. ½” x 3”, 2 ½” x 3 ½”, scrap for the image.

Night Of Navy:  4 1/4” x 4 ¼”

Poppy parade: Scrap

Come Sail Away DSP: 3 ¾” Square

The colouring is actually very simple with a bit of shading.  Note I popped up the image, but behind I used used the Balmy Blue to give a sky look  behind.   I will show the colouring in the video  along with the way to create this Easel card.
