Peaceful Poppies Pleated Skirt Card

Welcome to Tips Tricks and Tools Thursday.  Today I will be showing  you you a Blast from the Past, Fancy Fold Card using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.  

I think this tool has been forgotten and it hidden away on page 189 in the Annual Catalog.  I could not craft without this  I think I use this tool for almost every project that I do.  You cannot get a more precise score line.  It includes a metal-tipped ergonomic stylus, three place markers to mark scoring lines, and a storage compartment for your stylus, markers, and Bone Folder (sold separately; p. 189). Board measures 15" x 13-1/4" x 1"  and works with paper up to 12" x 12" .  I used it to make this Fancy Fold Card called the Pleated Skirt Fold or the Drapery Fold Card.

I used the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series paper and Elements to make this card.  I will give you a supply list below for the Peaceful Poppy Card.  Here is the card.

Peaceful Moments Stamp set

Poppy Parade CS:   5 ½” x 8 ½ “ scored at 4 ¼”

Whisper White: 4” x 5 ¼”

Peaceful Poppies DSP: 3” x 8 5/8”  Scored at 2”, 3”. 5” and 6”,

Basic Black: 2 ¼” square

It actually is a pretty simple fold isn't it?  Here is the other variation of the card that I showed in the video using the same template and technique using the Honey Bee and Golden Honey Specialty DSP.
