Masking Stampin' Up! With Playful Penguins
12/12/2019
I just love this adorable Stampin' Up!® set Playful Penguins. It is retiring on January 2/20, so if you want it, I would suggest that you get it while you can. I had used it earlier for just the caps and scarves, but today it is all about the Penguins. It is Tips, Tricks and Tools Thursday and I will be showing you how to do the masking technique. I had forgotten about this technique. I was reminded by the ladies in a class that not all the old and tried techniques are known by everyone. Of course they aren't by the newer stampers. I guess I will be going in my vault of knowledge and re teach these techniques. I will have to learn all over again. Now that will be fun.
Here is the card that we will be doing today.
The masking technique allows us to add the look of dimension to our cards. I also did a video demonstrating how to do this card. I will include the dimensions and supply list below.
I find that it just takes a bit of thinking in the beginning but the sky is the limit with this technique. Now it's your turn. I'd love to see what you have done with this technique.
Here are the measurements:

I hope you have a great day and can take time to create. It is good for the Soul.
