Creative Inking Blog Hop Color My World

Welcome to the Creative inkling Blog Hop.  This month the theme is Color My World.  Adult coloring is still so popular, but my favorite coloring  technique right now is with the ink pads and Aqua  Pens.  Two weeks ago I did a beginner class with the City of Kamloops Parks and Recreation and I introduced Coloring, Stampin' Up!  style.  We used the  beautiful stamp set, Birthday Blooms.  This stamp set is perfect to color with the Aqua painters because all the shadowing is marked within the stamp.  It kinda makes you look like an artist without having any talent.

So here is the card that I made.

I colored on shimmery White paper and used only three colors, Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and Daffodil Delight. I then fussy cut out the image. To add more dimension, I cut out another flower and layered over the image.  See the image below.
