Color Your World with Blendabilities Blog Hop

I am so excited to be involved with this Creative Inkling Blog Hop.  This month we are featuring Blendabilities.

Blog hot

You have come from Sue Lehrer's blog.   I had the privilege of meeting Sue at Leadership in Orlando.  What a great lady!

Stampin' Up Blendabilities can be used like markers or used to color beautiful blended colored images.  For those starting to use these markers, it may be quite intimidating, but with a bit of practice, you will be able to make your own masterpieces.

Today, I wanted to show a very simple technique that you can do with your Blendabilities.  I used the fun stamp set, From the Herd.

Some people start with the darker colors, but I always start with the lighter ones.  I use the lighter color to saturate the paper, so that it is easier to blend.  If you turn your masterpiece over, your color should come through to the back.  Here is my card.

If you look closer, you will see that the cow (looks like a Danish cow to me), you will see that the hair looks like fuzzy hair.  What I did was, use 99% rubbing alcohol and a piece of towel and dabbed it over the colored image.  It lifts the color and gives a fuzzy look.  You can also streak the image to get another look.

I hope that this has given a different idea to use with the Blendabilities.  Now on with the Blog Hop.

Why not hop over to Susan Camfield's Blog?

And if you want to go back to the previous.
