Yesterday, I was at the Investors Walk for Memories, a fundraiser for Alzheimer's. It was amazing and very emotional. There was fun for everyone. It really is a wonderful event. They raised over $90,000. The final count isn't in, but they were shooting for $100,000. I bet they make it. It is great to be a part of it. Short post today, as I am heading up to TCC for the Walk for Memories. Janice, Karen and I raised over $1000 dollars from our Cards for a Cause Event and Karen will be presenting a cheque on our behalf. Our next Cards for a Cause is April 12. Day 2 of Renovations and.............. yup more things found. One of the pipes wasn't even glued and showed signs of long time leaking. It was behind the gyp-rock and shower. Also the shower drain was plumbed all wrong. The room is unrecognizable now. Hard to believe that it is suppose to be finished by next weekend. Now the room is re plumbed.
