Over a month later, and I still haven't showed all the Christmas cards that we made in classes or clubs. I came to Calgary for Christmas and forgot to take the pictures of all the cards, but I have a few to show you because I had given them to the kids.
This first one is one that I had originally designed for Eve, my Granddaughter. We used Snow Much Fun Set. When I originally saw this set all I could think of was the Rolling snow ball stamp that was in it. I wanted to make the snowball roll and used the technique with a rolling penny.
And here is a close up of the Rolling Penny Snow Ball.
I really wanted to change up the colours this year. This card was made with Wisteria Wonder regular card stock and the Polka Dot design from the Designers Series Paper Pack. We also used the Vellum Embossing Technique to colour the snowman. The Ruffled Ribbon and Silver Glimmer paper just finished off this card.
We made another card with the Snow Much Fun and Shaker frames and Mica Flakes. Keeping true to mixing up the colours, I used Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze and Island Indigo to make this card.
We also used Glimmer Paper that was colored with Island Indigo and a Sponge Dabber.
I always try to make a pink card every year. No different this year. We used the Bright Hopes and Contempo Christmas stamp set from the Holiday Mini. Only a week left to order from this mini. THEN the Occassions mini goes live on January 4th. WOW what a mini!! That's another story. Stay tuned. If you haven't received it in the mail, email me and I will get one to you.
This was a very simple card. We used Pretty in Pink and Whisper White. We embossed with the new Pewter Embossing Powder. The Pink Pirouette Taffeta Ribbon topped the tree.
Unfortunately, that is all the cards that I can share until I get home in the new year. I will post all the rest on the first of January.
Tomorrow, I will share a very special project that I made for Eve for Christmas Eve. i hope that I have started a Tradition with them.
