Here is another Halloween card that I did for a swap. The last Sunday of the month we meet with 10 ladies and swap. I am only doing 2 more months as I have finding it hard to find the time to make this kind of a commitment. Last month's theme was Faux. We could do any Faux Technique that we wanted. I choose Faux Linen. I do my technique a little different than most.
For this card I used the House of Haunts Stamp set. Cardstock is Concord Crush, Pumpkin Pie and Glossy White. I also used the Concord Crush Stitched Poly Ribbon. I used Stazon and Basic Gray stamp pads.
Here is what I did to do the Faux Linen Technique. On the Glossy Cardstock, I brayered the Basic Gray on the Glossy Card. I then used regular Sand Paper and sanded the Glossy card stock in one direction and then in the other. It is as simple as that. For some reason, it looks purple doesn't it?
'Til later,
