Getting prepared for Christmas

Organized Convention Swaps

One of the Organized Swaps that I was in at the Convention was done by Judi Anderson.  I joined two of them.  One was for a Workshop and the other was for the 12 weeks of Christmas.  I decided to do a Big Shop Workshop.  I give a free Big Shot Class for anyone that purchases a Big Shot from me.  This year it took me forever to get the class organized.

Here is a sample of the workshop that we did.  I decided to use the theme of Black and White.

Big Shot Workshop

The first thing that we did, was embossing Napkins.  It is so simple but gives a unique look to ordinary napkins.  I used Cocktail napkins, but the dinner napkins can be used as well.  The second thing that we did was a Bookmark that you can barely see on the top left corner.  I also made these bookmarks for a card class on Mother's Day.  The other two projects were the ones that took some time to make.  The Votive was made with the following:

  1. Fancy Favor XL Die
  2. Little Leaves Sizzlit Die
  3. Fabulous Florets Stamp Set
  4. 2 1/2" Circle Punch
  5. 12X6 piece of  Whisper White Card Stock
  6. 3X2 piece of Card Stock Vellum
  7. Misc pieces of Basic Black Card Stick
  8. 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon

Of course there is the other Misc tools of Stazon Stamp pad Scissors, Sticky Strip, Dimensionasl etc. etc.  I got the Flame-less Tea Lights at Costco.  You can also get them at the Dollar Store.   Remember you get what you pay for.

The Fourth Project was the Stand up Butter Fly Easel, with Embedded embossing.   Here is a list of the Tools and Stamps that we used:

  1. Top Note Die
  2. Beautiful Butterflies Die
  3. Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die
  4.  Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder
  5. Decorative Label Punch
  6. Happy Greetings from the Summer Mini

I hope you like it.

'Til later,

Diane
