Welcome to the Creative inkling Blog Hop. This month the theme is Color My World. Adult coloring is still so popular, but my favorite coloring technique right now is with the ink pads and Aqua Pens. Two weeks ago I did a beginner class with the City of Kamloops Parks and Recreation and I introduced Coloring, Stampin' Up! style. We used the beautiful stamp set, Birthday Blooms. This stamp set is perfect to color with the Aqua painters because all the shadowing is marked within the stamp. It kinda makes you look like an artist without having any talent.
So here is the card that I made.
I colored on shimmery White paper and used only three colors, Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and Daffodil Delight. I then fussy cut out the image. To add more dimension, I cut out another flower and layered over the image. See the image below.
So why not hop on over to see what Susan Campfield has colored and what technique that she has used.
And if you missed it, go back and see what Linda Bauwin has done.
Stop by tomorrow and see the new Sale-A-Bration items available tomorrow.
Have a wonderful day.
